3.1 Approach with the right mindset!

Hello, and hope you all have an energetic weekend

Maybe you think you have studied English for 10 years but have not made any progress and you think that you have failed, or have no talent for learning this language?

Come to think of it for a moment, did you really LEARN? Or do you simply go to class and sit for 10 years?

The hard truth is that you guys wasted those 10 years not really learning English at all. If you don’t want to continue now, start today. REALLY start LEARNING. Forget everything you know, you’ve ever thought about English, and reorganize the whole thing from scratch.

Approach with the right mindset, and the right METHODOLOGY and you will go much faster.

Today, there are 2 things I want to share about the obvious TRUTH in language learning:

1/ There must be an INPUT to have an OUTPUT, that is, an INPUT must be an OUTPUT.

The main input is LISTENING, READING

Output is SPEAK, WRITE.

Input must be very much, the output will be a little bit.

=> The first stage of learning needs to focus on INPUT, which means spending all the time LISTENING and READING English.

2/ The real time to master a language from zero is at least 2-3 years, even 4-5 years depending on your level of use and exposure to that language. There is no OFF path. So learn as early as possible.

The 3-month or 6-month timeline only helps you to break through the foundation and confidence, but never helps you master English. Therefore, do not be too delusional, believe in advertising centers that you will regret.

Find an English Tutor now!

3.2 Practice listening English effectively!

In the process of learning English, especially speaking skills, you must be stressed about learning phonetics first and practicing to have good phonetics. I don’t say it’s mandatory, I just say “should”, because simply, you don’t have the pronunciation like western, but if you speak fluently, it’s still acceptable. However, not many people have fluency without phonetics, because simply, fluency is born from talking a lot, not having good phonetics, or saying it wrong makes us afraid to speak, but shy. Who dares to practice speaking anymore, so it’s obvious that they can’t speak fluently.

For those reasons, I sincerely recommend that you invest time in serious phonics practice every day. And the best way to practice phonics is not to practice pronunciation alone (it’s just a catalyst, to speed up the process), but to practice listening and repeating, imitating exactly how native speakers speak. Everything starts with listening

Here I would like to share a very convenient website for phonics practice. This site has clear levels, so it is suitable for most of us. You go to the level section and choose the corresponding level for you and start practicing: voicetube

HOW TO WORK:

1/ First you choose the appropriate video (level + interest)

2/ Open the video, close your eyes and feel. How much do you rate yourself? Can you catch many sounds and words? What is their intonation like?

3/ Specialize in speaking part, practice each sentence by listening – repeating and comparing, when you find yourself reading quite well, then move on to another sentence (rest assured that this is available on the web, your job is to just click click phone :)))

4/ Remember well: it doesn’t matter how many videos you study or how many sentences you read in one practice, the important thing is how many times you repeat a sentence, how many times repeat a video => SHOULD LEARN ONE VIDEOS FOR AT LEAST ONE WEEK. This not only helps you to have good phonetics, but also helps you to have more vocabulary + speaking skills

What are you waiting for, plug in your headphones and practice

3.3 Practice Speaking English to build confidence in communication!

You know, I have learned a lot of the right principles about learning English, and one thing I find extremely true is that it takes INPUT to create OUTPUT.

That is, to be able to speak and write well you need to spend a lot of time READING and LISTENING. This is NOT FALSE and it is 100% correct.

BUT….I was wrong…for one thing…we are VIETNAM.

Everyone knows how to listen and read, but most Vietnamese people are very passive, very shy, very lacking in confidence, so even if they listen and read for many years, they never dare to open their mouths to speak. And you think, if only INPUT but never OUTPUT out, how can you communicate fluently. Right?

So what you need to do now is to BE CONFIDENT RIGHT NOW. You have to dare to open your mouth and say it, even if you can say a few words or a few sentences, say it strongly, intensely, say it like crazy so that you really feel CONFIDENCE That intense touch will make you happy, and motivated to practice and learn English further.

English tutors will help students master quickly

That’s why, every day, please choose a short document (just a small paragraph and a few sentences), READ and LISTEN to it, then take a few sentences to SAY, imitate and remember to RUN , swing your legs intensely, you will feel happier than ever.

TRUST ME. PLEASE DO IT AND FEEL THE RESULTS

3.4 FEEL the joy of learning English!

Most of us have studied English for nearly a decade without being able to speak a single sentence. We are always “proud” to identify ourselves as “Lost”, so when you begin to realize the importance of English, you rush into it. study in an energetic, energetic way as if to make up for wasted time in the past.. That’s very good. That was a great start.

BUT…

Everything takes time, and to really master a new language takes years. This you probably already know and accept the truth.

So now you learn to forget to eat, forget to rest within 2-3 months, can it help you conquer English?

I’m definitely NO. And perhaps not reaching the finish line, you are exhausted, or give up in the middle of the road because of DREAM.

SO THAT..

What you need is to enjoy your progress every day, steadily, hard, little by little.

FEEL the joy of:

+) Learn 1 NEW WORD

+) Learn more 1 Grammatical STRUCTURE interesting

+) See the ability to READ English documents COMPLETELY better than before.

+) Or the ability to LISTEN has increased a bit.

Want sustainable progress? Let your English tutor guide you

Starting something is hard, but ending it is much harder. To go all the way through a long journey, you need to have HAPPY every step you take ^^

Just keep going SLOWLY, a little bit each day, sooner or later you will reach your destination, as long as you NEVER give up

4/ Teaching English to people who have lost their roots

Many of you have asked me about the time I lost my roots, how should I start studying and from where? In this article, I will help you have a clearer direction:

* There are 3 things you have to learn

1/ Knowledge of the subject you want to use

2/ Vocabulary

3/ Grammar

* There are 4 skills you have to practice (skills can only be achieved through practice but should be):

Input: Listen + read

Output: Speak + write

You lost your original English? Let your tutor help you

The learning process will obviously be INPUT and then OUTPUT, ie listening, reading first, speaking and writing later.

So, when you’re just starting out with English, don’t insist on speaking and writing right away. Have you seen any parents forcing their child to be born only 3-6 months old but must speak and write fluently? That is impossible.

At least for the first 3 months, spend about 1-2 hours a day LISTENING + READING basic materials about things that you want to be able to SAY, WRITE later (this will also help you learn more vocabulary and grammar in the most natural way).
